Your Role
The performance of large analog and mixed-signal ICs relies heavily on a robust and optimized power network. In this role, you will take ownership of analyzing and enhancing these networks, with a special focus on Electromigration (EM) and Voltage Drop (IR-drop) to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Perform advanced Electromigration and Voltage Drop Analysis on analog/mixed-signal IPs and subsystems
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Layout teams to interpret results and implement improvements
  • Drive innovation by proactively improve the methodology and design flow together with the methodology group

Your Profile
You are a detail-oriented engineer with a collaborative mindset, who thrives on tackling complex challenges and sharing expertise across teams. With a solid background in SoC physical design and a passion for building innovative, scalable chip layouts, you are ready to shape the future of reliable semiconductor design.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or similar field of studies
  • 1-3 years of experience in the area of analog semiconductor design / layout
  • A foundation in layout / design / analog verification and Cadence design environment
  • Knowledge of Electromigration and Voltage Drop Analysis (e. g. Synopsys/Ansys Totem/Redhawk or Cadence Voltus-XFI) is a plus
  • Good Unix & scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell programming)
  • An independent working style with strong communication skills
  • Full working proficiency in English; German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group F-G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
