Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Designing, optimizing, and implementing radio and modem systems, including architecture definition, modeling, and optimization of Wireless Front-end systems
• Simulating and analyzing entire radio and digital baseband line-ups to ensure high-efficiency solutions, and verifying pre-silicon and post-silicon designs
• Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, including regulatory standards
• Providing FW support and MAC interface development
• Defining design specifications, requirement engineering, validation plans, and technical reports
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly with the RF design team
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments, standard and technological advancements, as well as new methodologies

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in system design, with a strong focus on RF and digital signal processing
  
• Proficient in modelling tools (e.g., MATLAB, Systemverilog), RTL design, simulation and verification tooling
• Solid understanding of RF-analog circuit fundamentals and transceiver impairments, including noise and distortion analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits
