In the Pulp & Paper - Automation & Digitalization department in Graz, Vienna or Raaba, we are looking for a Senior Engineer Automation & Digitalization (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement new optimization solutions (e.g. advanced controls, machine learning and big data analytics) for customer projects in pulp & paper & panel board industry
  • Work closely with product management and RnD to implement and further enhance new controls products and solutions
  • Data analysis of process data to identify improvements potentials and bottlenecks at our customer projects
  • Support automation optimization service contracts on site
  • Execute optimization projects through their complete life cycle, from start up, through optimizing to monitoring in close collaboration with our customer
  • Consolidate projects reports and project documentation
  • Supports sales project management in customer meetings

Your Profile

  • Complete higher technical education (MSc TU/FH or HTL with work experience > 5 years) in Automation and control or electric engineering
  • Intermediate Knowledge in automation and control (PID Controller, tuning of control loops, advanced process controls)
  • Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrics
  • Basic knowledge of the industrial process you'll work on is an advantage
  • Intermediate Level English and German
  • Advanced Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Team player, trustworthy, autonomous working and good communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility to work in different projects and under a tight time schedule
  • Availability to travel (50%)

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of EUR 3.928,71 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
