Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Join our innovative team as a technical expert in power systems, where you'll tackle complex challenges and drive the development of cutting-edge semiconductor power frontend technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring revolutionary products to life. With the freedom to explore new ideas and integrate AI and ML into product development, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of power systems and contribute to long-term business success in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

• Work on a broad range of technical challenges, from application requirements for new products to product verification
• Use your expertise to translate customer requirements into product specifications and implementations in the field of power systems
• Create your own simulation models and use circuit simulation to thoroughly understand product behavior in application circuits
• Set targets for new semiconductor power frontend technologies and packages
• Be a technical expert in projects collaborating with technology and package development and application engineering
• Bring in your own ideas to create new products for long-term business success
• Explore opportunities to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into product development and optimization to improve the performance and efficiency of power systems

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll bring a curious and innovative mindset, with a strong foundation in electrical engineering or physics, and a passion for driving technological advancements in power electronics through collaborative teamwork. As a highly motivated and communicative professional, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment, leveraging your excellent English skills, and willingness to learn and adapt, including exploring the potential of AI and ML to shape the future of power systems.

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field
• 5+ years of professional experience in the field of power electronics product development, device modeling, application engineering, or process integration
• Excellent English language skills, German skills or willingness to learn it as a plus
• Experience with AI and ML technologies or the willingness to learn and work with these technologies

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
