Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Hardware Maintenance: Performing re-balling of radar chips and SMD soldering tasks, repair and maintenance of hardware components
  • Quality Inspection: Conducting optical inspection of components via microscope, identification and documentation of defects or issues and verification of component quality and functionality
  • Documentation Support: Assisting with documentation tasks, maintaining accurate records, report generation and data entry
  • PCB Design and Development: Designing and developing PCBs, including CAD support for 3D printing
  • Testbench Setup and Automation: Building and supporting hardware testbenches and automated measurement tasks

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundation in electronics and SMD soldering
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and German
  • Problem-Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
