Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Research and Development: Research and implement state-of-the-art design sizing automation techniques for analog circuits to improve design efficiency
  • Tool Development: Develop Python-based tools and scripts for circuit sizing, optimization, verification, and reporting to automate design tasks
  • Innovation and Exploration: Explore the application of LLMs and AI models in analog design workflows to identify new opportunities for automation and optimization
  • Documentation and Library Creation: Create documentation and libraries of reusable analog/power electronics building blocks to facilitate knowledge sharing and design reuse
  • Validation and Presentation: Validate developed methodologies through practical circuit design examples and document findings and present results in a thesis format to demonstrate effectiveness


This thesis has to be written in cooperation with a university.

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field to ensure a strong academic foundation
  • Technical Skills: Possess a strong background in analog circuit design, circuit simulation, and programming skills, including Python, SPICE, and optimization algorithms, to design and develop efficient electronic systems
  • Language Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with German being a plus
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize circuit designs, troubleshoot issues, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and communicate complex technical ideas, ensuring effective teamwork and knowledge sharing in a multidisciplinary environment

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
