Internship - Lab Engineer for Wireless Communications (f/m/div)

Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Measurements of wireless communication hardware (PA's, LNA's, radarcomponents etc.): You will be conducting detailed measurements and performance evaluations of wireless communication hardware, such as power amplifiers (PA's), low-noise amplifiers (LNA's), and radar components, ensuring their compliance with technical specifications and performance benchmarks
  • Lab automation: You will take an active role in automating laboratory test setups and procedures by developing scripts and tools to streamline measurement processes, improve accuracy, and enhance test efficiency
  • Report generation: You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting test data in a clear and concise manner, creating detailed technical reports to document findings and support decision-making processes

Further Information:
Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor student in the field of electrical engineering, math or physics
  • Knowledge: Basic Know How in analog and RF circuit's
  • Technical Skills: Good programming skills (Matlab, Python, Java)
  • Organizational Skills: Flexibility and good time management skills, as well as a genuine interest in learning new topics
  • Communication Skills: Ability of working effectively across other departments
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
