Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Technical Support: Assist engineers in system board design and verification of high power density and innovative solutions in DC-DC power conversion
  • Evaluation and Testing: Build evaluation kits and perform system function verification and testing
  • Documentation: Prepare design documentation, application notes, and getting started guides for various solutions developed
  • Knowledge Development: Acquire knowledge and methodology in system design, trouble shooting, and analysis
  • Result Analysis: Analyze test results and document the outcomes
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate and contribute to development projects

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.) Duration: min. 9 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Education: You are a motivated and committed Student from the field of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience in PCB design and any design software (preferred experience with Altium Designer), as well as exposure to system technical/functional analysis
  • Soft Skills: Analytic and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in documentation preparation
  • Additional Skills: Spice simulation, Matlab experience, Excel proficiency, and lab experience are considered differentiating skills
  • Language Skills: Good communication skills in the English language are required

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
