As Senior Manager Corporate Strategy, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Greiner Group. Working across group-level and divisional initiatives, you will identify new business opportunities and develop well-founded strategic recommendations for top management. In an international, innovation-driven environment, you will contribute with a high degree of autonomy to defining and implementing impactful long-term strategies.

Your Challenge

  • Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and trend analyses to derive strategic options
  • Identify and assess new business fields and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of strategies at both group and divisional level
  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations and decision-making documents for top management
  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets, including synergy assessments
  • Provide strategic support throughout due diligence processes
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to operational units during implementation phases

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, engineering, or natural sciences
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a top-tier strategy consultancy or in a strategic role within an internationally operating company
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in strategic analysis and structured problem-solving
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, business case development, and evaluating strategic options
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, especially in interactions with senior leadership
  • Self-directed and structured working style, entrepreneurial mindset, and high intrinsic motivation
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal skills

The position is based in Vienna or Kremsmünster.

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is EUR 89,992.70 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement). We are, of course, willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience. In addition, we offer an attractive bonus system that is based on the achievement of individual and company-wide performance targets, which is calculated annually.
