Recycling Program Specialist (m/f/d)
in our Supply Chain Organization

You have a strong understanding of operational supply chains, recycling processes, and stakeholder coordination -- combined with a hands-on mindset and excellent communication skills?

We are looking for a recycling operations lead to support the growth and effectiveness of our recycling program, ensure operational excellence in recycling logistics, and contribute to our circular economy strategy.

Your tasks

You are part of a diverse and dynamic team that encourages responsibility and continuous improvement. In this newly created position, you will operationally manage and improve the performance of our recycling supply chains across several divisions. In this role, you report to the Head of Procurement and are closely connected to the business strategy, logistics, and sustainability teams.

  • You coordinate stakeholders across procurement, logistics, sales, IT, and external suppliers to ensure efficient recycling operations aligned with our circularity targets.
  • You monitor and report on recycling performance through KPIs, dashboards, and presentations; track progress and follow up with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure transparency and efficiency in recycling data and proactively identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • You act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding operational recycling matters and resolve logistical or supply chain disruptions.
  • Support sales units and divisions by explaining recycling requirements, identifying material inflow gaps, and encouraging active participation in the recycling program.
  • Coordinate administrative and IT-related aspects of the recycling program, such as access management, system requirements, issue resolution, and collaboration with local IT teams.
  • Drive the ongoing development and scaling of the recycling program, adapting to market and material flow changes.
  • Support the execution of reverse logistics processes, consolidation points, and cost-efficient transport routes.

The location for this position is preferably at our headquarters at Wolfram in St. Martin / Austria while other locations in Europe might be an option for the right candidate with approx. 50% of the time presence at the site.

Your profile

We are looking for a strong communicator with solid experience in supply chain, logistics, or recycling operations, ideally in an industrial environment.

  • A technical or business-oriented qualification (e.g., degree in engineering, supply chain management, environmental sciences, or HTL-level diploma).
  • Proven practical experience in operational recycling, logistics, or supply chain roles, including stakeholder coordination and performance tracking.
  • You show strong skills in working with data and KPIs to ensure transparency and results.
  • Experience in resolving supplier-related and logistical issues across departments.
  • You show strong communication skills - are able to promote recycling goals, explain requirements, and build engagement.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; German language skills are an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work internationally and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • You are solution-oriented, thrive on managing day-to-day operations with precision and show initiative as well as curiosity in identifying improvement opportunities
  • You are a role model for sustainability, inclusion, and ethical behavior.

  • If the position is located in Austria we offer you we offer you an annual gross salary starting from EUR 62.000 for fulltime. Your actual salary will be market competitive and takes individual qualification and experience into account.
