Red Bull is on a mission to decarbonize and enhance energy efficiency at production sites, both in-house and with our copackers. As an Energy and Environmental Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advising our team on strategies to optimize energy usage, minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategies for reducing environmental footprints and achieving energy efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

ENERGY MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

You develop and implement energy management strategies at the production line and plant level. In cooperation with copackers and partners, work towards reducing energy use and costs across operations.

RENEWABLE ENERGY ADOPTION

You recommend and support the adoption of renewable energy solutions, such as solar, wind, and other sustainable sources, to propel our operations towards energy independence and sustainability.

ENERGY AUDITS AND STANDARDS MONITORING

In this role you manage energy audits, propose solutions for improving building and facility performance, and orchestrate efforts to enhance energy efficiency. Furthermore you define an internal Red Bull energy standard and monitor energy performance indicators. Provide periodic progress reports to leadership based on the established standards.

SUSTAINABILITY GUIDANCE

Provide energy guidance based on Red Bull Sustainability requirements for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices are met.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Degree in Evironmental Sciences, Process Engineering, Energy Management or related field (Master Degree is a plus)
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management, environmental consulting or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, heat utilization, renewable energy solutions, environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Experience with process engineering, energy audits, building systems optimization, and energy modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with energy management standards (e.g.: ISO 50001) and environmental certifications (e.g.: ISO 14001)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Travel: 20-30 %

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.446,- gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
