Head of global Process Engineering Assembly (m/f/d)

TASKS:

• Positioning ZKW Process Engineering as "Best in Class" with regards to competencies, functional and global footprint, tools and methods
• Developing a long-term vision for and with your team and set-up a short-/mid-term roadmap
• Ensuring efficient and effective serial production on all assembly processes globally
• Providing function resources based on the strategic demand (customer projects, internal projects and others) right time, right place and at right maturity level, using internal and external sources as appropriate
• Operational responsibility for the Local Manager of Process Engineering Assembly as well as the Global Manager of Vision System development with focus to develop the functions to guarantee unified delivery quality on global basis (Time, Quality, Cost)
• Providing problem solving and escalation level within the international Manufacturing and Process engineering network
• Monitoring and optimizing overall functional and global footprint, strengthening global problem-solving capabilities and global focus
• Ensuring the successful ramp up according to planed KPIs for customer projects globally

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University education with focus on operations or proven track record on production or industrial engineering
• Relevant experience in Automotive Tier-1 supplier business is an advantage
• Experience in investment and customer projects
• Proven track record of several years of international leadership experience
• Intercultural experience and empathic, trustworthy and reliable personality with focus on people and competencies
• Rich experience and knowledge of assembly, technologies as well as lean methods
• Fluent English communication
