To strengthen our global purchasing team we are looking for the earliest possible entry at our site in Gmunden or Singapure of a

Lead Buyer (m/f/x) (Passive Components/ Magnetics)

TASKS:

  • Implementation of new sourcing strategies within the electronics material group "passive components" with focus on magnetics
  • Initiation of supplier selection processes and leading selection project within a global cross functional team
  • Creation and development of a preferred suppliers pool for our global R&D teams to meet cost-, quality- and performance-targets and risk management goals
  • Negotiation of prices and logistics agreements as well as global contracts for our global manufacturing network
  • Supplier Management and Qualification: forecasting & demand planning, monitoring and reporting (supplier assessment) as well as supplier development
  • Responsibility for meeting price, quality and performance goals of the material group
  • Close cooperation with strategic purchasing for planning and forecasting, as well as cost down purpose

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed commercial or technical education
  • Several years' experience in the electronic supply chain industry, preferably already with lead buyer tasks
  • Very good English in spoken and written, German and Chinese advantageous
  • Team minded and open to work in global cross functional teams
  • High travel readiness

Employment information: The market-conform, attractive and performance-related salary for this position is determined from the minimum salary that must be announced in Austria of EUR 40.600 per year on a full-time basis and from a significant overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience.
