Job description

  • Engage with our customers and act as a senior technical advisor to establish trust in Infineon's connected and security solutions
  • Analyze and structure application requirements for Infineon's Secure Ranging (e.g. UWB) hardware and software architectures, technologies, methodologies
  • Drive the definition of concepts for our connected and security solution offering based on customer requirements and application understanding
  • Engage in technical trend scouting and drive pre-development of next-generation application features
  • Influence standardization authorities worldwide and provide requirements for Infineon's offerings
  • Translate application requirements and interpret system-related stakeholder demands for products or solutions

Profile

You know how to access your full potential and constantly strive to achieve the best performance for yourself and your team. You have the courage to express and represent controversial opinions, because you know that new creative ideas arise from appreciative professional discussions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or a related field, ideally with a focus on secure ranging (UWB), security and cryptography
  • At least 6 years of professional experience with hardware or software architecture definition in semiconductor or related industries
  • Deep understanding of the secure ranging or localization applications and use cases (e.g. Car Access, Access Control, Item Tracking)
  • An independent working style with the ability to work with different teams worldwide
  • Excellent skills in listening to various view-points, incorporating them, articulating the value of solution and defending the architectural choice
  • Excellent English language skills, German language skills added as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H-I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
