Join our IT Service Unit as a Frontend Developer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As a member of our innovative IT team, you will collaborate closely with data scientists and backend developers and your colleagues of the UI Team on new and groundbreaking products and solutions in the domain of Earth Observations.

• Design user-friendly interfaces with a focus on responsiveness and usability with our customers
• Develop new application with a special focus on big-data, data-management and Earth Observation derived in the domain of Civil Security, Governmental Services and Earth-Science
• Optimizations for the smooth operation of our solutions in the space sector

Your strengths & competences:

You are passionate about innovative data analysis methods and IT technologies and enjoy developing solutions for the major environmental challenges of our time.

• Completed STEM studies (Bachelor/Master) or talented lateral entrant
• Experience (one year +) in a web framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular,familiarity with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS is a plus
• Good knowledge in applying RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile developmentmethodologies
• Analytical skills, agile mindset, independence and hands-on mentality
• Experience with interactive map libraries (Leaflet/OpenLayers) and VideoPlayback via HTML5-API is a plus

Salary

The actual minimum salary is 47,600 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
