Join our IT Service Unit as a Web Application Developer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

As a member of our innovative IT team, you will collaborate closely with data scientists and backend developers and your colleagues of the UI Team on new and groundbreaking products and solutions in the domain of Earth Observations and SatCom.

• Design user-friendly interfaces with a focus on responsiveness and usability with our customers
• Development of web applications with a special focus on big-data, data management and information products for several domains
• Optimizations for the smooth operation of our solutions in the space sector

Your strengths & competences:

You are passionate about innovative data analysis methods and IT technologies and enjoy developing solutions for the major environmental challenges of our time.

• Completed STEM studies (Bachelor/Master) or talented lateral entrant
• Proficiency in a web framework such as Vue.js, React or Angular
• Familiarity with TypeScript and TailwindCSS is a plus
• Good knowledge in applying RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
• Analytical skills, agile mindset, independence and hands-on mentality
• First experience with interactive map viewers (Leaflet/OpenLayers) and Video Playback via HTML5-API is a plus

The actual minimum salary is 47,600 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
